Senior Developer for Digital Department

Duties & Responsibilities

• Program/Project Management
  1. review job briefs and query gaps and ambiguities
  2. assist with digital project briefing, reverse briefing and scoping
  3. liaise with creative team for design and copy requirements
• Coding & Development
  1. advise on UX on various websites and applications
  2. coding and testing
  3. manage contractors where required
• Business Development
  1. assist with preparing cost estimates for website and app development (web & mobile)
  2. assist with preparation of pitch documents - proposals, business case

Requirements

• Experience
  1. Linux hosting server management
  2. 4+ years website and/or PHP application development
• Technical Skills
  1. In-depth knowledge of Wordpress, PHP, MySQL, and HTML
  2. mid-level to advanced knowledge of cloud hosting, e.g. AWS
  3. basic knowledge of Magento
• Soft Skills
  1. Good spoken English
  2. Active listening
  3. Strong presentation skills
  4. Strong project management skills

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Must be available for team conference calls and client calls (usually between 9am to 6pm)
• May occasionally be required to work on a weekend, particularly when trying to meet an urgent deadline

• Anywhere with a good internet connection

Salary

• $1250 AUD per month
• negotiable on experience
