Network and Infrastructure Manager

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience
  • Must have supervisory experience for at least 3-4 years
  • Certification - CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience (demonstrated) may be considered
  • Familiar with VPN, VLAN, CISCO and Windows server
  • Familiar with cabling standards, ITIL and other hardware standards
  • Must be familiar with genset operation and maintenance
  • Must be familiar with network equipment
  • Must be technically inclined
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be willing to take on spectrum of responsibilities
  • Strong abilities to prioritize and work under pressure and deadline

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of Infrastructure, Network and Facilities
  • Responsible for all IT systems within a company, including hardware and software systems
  • Managing and maintaining the network.
  • Installing and indentifying upgrades to the network
  • Developing a backup/disaster recovery plan for a network emergency
  • Planning the network infrastructure for new applications
  • Training network staff to provide support to end users
  • Purchasing and maintaining networking equipment and infrastructure

Mobile Platform Developer

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • 3-5 years mobile programming experience
  • Must be familiar with Android and IOS
  • Must be familiar with PhoneGap and/or Titanium
  • Ability to multitas and good time management skills
  • Ability to work on their own as part of the team
  • Must be technically inclined
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be willing to take on spectrum of responsibilities
  • Strong abilities to prioritize and work under pressure and deadline
  • Excellent scoping and estimation skills
  • Excellent testing/QA skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle - concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support
  • Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
  • Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
  • Working along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
  • Working with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability features
  • Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
  • Standardizing the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
  • Optimizing performance for the apps
  • Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
  • Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
