MANAGEMENT ADVISERS
Qualifications:
- Individuals with skills in organizational development, change management, financial monitoring, project assessment and evaluation, implementing frameworks and/or project criteria
- Volunteer managers with social sciences backgrounds, working with youth/ community or NGO managers who manage volunteers from various sectors
SMALL BUSINESS ADVISERS
Qualifications:
- Individuals with skills in business developments, product design/ production, marketing, selling, distribution, promotion, accounting and managing people
IT PROFESSIONALS
Qualifications:
- Graduates of IT courses with a mix of database and network skills including design, implementation, maintenance and website development
EDUCATION MANAGERS
Qualifications:
- Teachers or education managers with 5 years experience and skills in staff management, financial management, monitoring and evaluation of education standards/ quality assurance, PTA mobilization, school inspection
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS
Qualifications:
- With teaching qualifications at primary and secondary level. SPED degree is not essential but must have 3 years experience in inclusion, mainstreaming special needs pupils in classrooms, and teaching the visually or hearing impaired for sensory placements.
FUNDRAISERS
Qualifications:
- Professional with a variety of the following skills: networking, organizational profiling, financial planning, event management paired with knowledge of institutional funding, resource mobilization techniques, grants management, marketing and donor management strategies
ADVOCACY SPECIALISTS
Qualifications:
- With experience of lobbying, policy analysis and research developing promotional materials and developing the capacity of organizations. You will be experts in advocacy models, fundraising, campaigning, right-based issues. We have specific placements for those with expertise in policy analysis, working with local and central governments, knowledge of MDG, knowledge of special needs education.
COMMUNICATION ADVISERS
Qualifications:
- With experience of a wide range of media, and skills in planning, management, communications, media relationship management. Experience in international communication systems, content management systems and developing promotional materials is desirable.
MARKETING ADVISERS
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in marketing, PR, communication, event management. Useful skills include developing and implementing marketing strategies and developing promotional materials, planning campaigns and managing marketing.
Do you qualify now?
- Between 25 to 65 years old
- Minimum 3 years solid experience in one area of expertise (ex. 3 years as project manager)
- With a formal college degree
- Physically and mentally fit
- Can live and work in a developing country for up to 2 years
- Can live on a modest living allowance
- Willing to fundraise for VSO development programs
