FLEXIBLE LEARNING SOLUTIONS UNIT (FLSU) ASSOCIATE SPECIALIST
The FLSU Associate Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, conducting and managing on-line flexible learning/distance education programs for SEAMEO INNOTECH.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor and Masters/ post-graduate degree in Education, Education Technology, Educational Management or related discipline from an internationally recognized university with specialization preferably in Education Management or ICT. Doctorate degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the field of educational management, open/ flexible/ distance education and ICT use in education or related discipline
- Proficient in project management, training facilitation and training management
- Excellent skills in coordination, networking, interpersonal relations, technical writing
- Computer literate- preferred experience in online learning management systems
FLEXIBLE LEARNING SOLUTIONS COURSE IMPLEMENTATION ASSISTANT
The Course Implementation Assistant provides technical and logistical support to the on-line flexible learning course implementation activities of the Center.
Qualifications:
- Four-year Bachelors degree (AB/BS) in Education, Educational Technology, Open/ Distance/ Flexible Learning/ Communication Arts or equivalent
- Experience in organizing and coordinating distance/ flexible learning course implementation
- Preferably 2 to 3 years experience in coordination of MIS data and communications related to flexible courses implementation
- Excellent oral and written English and Filipino communication skills
- Proficient in use of technology for educational purpose
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE SPECIALIST
The Research Associate Specialist conceptualizes, plans, implements and manages educational research projects undertaken by SEAMEO INNOTECH
Qualifications:
- At least a Master’s degree in education or related discipline from an internationally recognized university with specialization preferably in research and evaluation and expertise in educational research, educational management and leadership, educational policy or educational evaluation
- Minimum 5 years experience in planning and management of educational research and evaluation programs
- Must have published research articles in local and international journals
- Proficient in project management, research publication, research project development
- Excellent skills is coordination, networking, interpersonal relations, technical writing and group process facilitation
DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
The Database Administrator handles the development, design, implementation and maintenance of databases and applications
Qualifications:
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or information Systems
- At least four years of enterprise level database administration experience
- Proven experience in database systems analysis, design and implementation
- Proficiency with programming languagesli
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skillsli
