The Philippine Tropical Forest Conservation Foundation
Inc was established under two bilateral agreements between the Governments
of the United States (US) of America and the Republic of the Philippines
(RP) under the US Tropical Forest Conservation Act. These agreements
diverted US$8.25 million dollars in peso-denominated interest payments
over 14 years, to the Tropical Forest Conservation Fund.
The principal objective of the Foundation is to provide
grants to projects that aim to conserve, maintain or restore tropical
forests in the Philippines.
PTFCF is now seeking the assistance of an experienced
professional to achieve its aim of diversifying funding sources and
building program sustainability.
Urgently need the following:
CONSULTING SERVICES FOR FUNDRAISING
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of strategic development and fundraising experience
- Proven track record in fundraising
- Knowledge of project cycle management
- Familiarity with preparing proposals and grant applications that has been approved for funding
- Sound knowledge of the current funding and business environment in the country and the donors that are presently funding projects here
- Knowledge of fundraising cycles, proposal formats and application procedures for key donors
- The ideal candidate would be energetic, flexible and adaptable in their approach, be able to work individually or as a team and have excellent communication skills.
- Professional knowledge of English
