One (1) Program Unit Manager (Base Location: Occidental Mindoro)

The Program Unit Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of priority projects at the PU level making sure all projects and processes are aligned with the Country Strategic Plan and child-centered community development (CCCD) approach. Consistent with the CO caseload management plan, the PUM leads the PU team to deliver sponsorship requirements and ensure that sponsorship is tightly linked to program implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Graduates of Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Science, Community Development or related Social Science courses
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience in development work is a must
  • 2 years of which gave been in a supervisory/ managerial capacity preferably in an international NGO
  • hands-on experience in participatory approaches is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated and proven skills in people management, social development orientation, project/ program management and evaluation, strategic thinking, participatory management, advocacy, networking and alliance-building


One (1) Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Specialist, Masbate Program Unit

The incumbent is responsible in ensuring that local ICT Infrastructure and software applications in his/her assigned Plan Offices and covered communities are available and accessible to users under the direction of the program unit/Area Manager and the Information and Communications Technology Manager. He/She provides training, coaching and technical support to users.

Qualifications:

  • Graduates of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related course or equivalent combination of education required.
  • Minimum 2 years of actual experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job and solid foundation in managing and supporting Microsoft Windows-based applications are a must
  • Proficient knowledge in troubleshooting client/ server network protocols, local area network (LAN), data and voice communication, internet/ intranet applications is preferred.
  • Analytical and solutions focused, technological savvy, effective communication, sharing of expertise, and flexibility is highly desirable.
