Contractual Position
The Job involvesÖ
- Research and Analysis
- Monitoring and evaluation of DTI regular activities as well as locally-funded projects and foreign-assisted projects
- Development of projects proposals
- Preparation of Technical reports
- Coordination of trade and industry programs, projects and activities
Core Requisites:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Applied Economics, Development Communication, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Statistics or other related fields.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, possessing strong attention to details
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Knowledgeable in the use of STATA / Statistical tools
- Highly developed IT skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexible and a team player
- Can work with minimum supervision
- Professional demeanor
CHIEF, TRADE AND INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (CTIDS)
Permanent Position
The Job involvesÖ
- Development and formulation of trade policy proposals
- Negotiation of bilateral, regional and multilateral international trade agreements
- Appraisal of foreign policies
- Networking with local and foreign counterparts
Core Requisites:
- Master's Degree, major study in economics and business, international trade, international economics, international affairs, or international relations or other related fields of study
- 4 years in position involving management and supervision and work related to international trade relations
- Knowledgeable on international trade laws / policies / practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Resilient and flexible
- Team Player
- Highly developed IT skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Professional demeanor
