In September 1996, Banco De Oro Universal Bank (BDO or the “Bank”) started operating as a universal bank. On 15 June 2001, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the merger of BDO with Dao Heng Bank, Inc., a subsidiary of Dao Heng Bank Ltd., with BDO as the surviving entity.

Following BDO’s listing in the Philippine Stock exchanged (PSE) on 21 Mat 2002, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private investment arm of the World Bank, agreed to provide BDO a US$20 million convertible loan, a facility qualified by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as Tier 2 capital. This is the first Tier 2 investment of IFC in a commercial bank in the Philippines.

LOANS SPECIALIST (PROV - LAU)
* Graduate of any four year course; at least 5 years experience in loans documentation, administration and account servicing, gained from a commercial/universal bank; must be willing to be assigned in any of the following areas: Baguio, Batangas, Cebu, Iloilo, Davao or Cagayan de Oro; not over 35 years old

TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST (PROV - TSD)
* Graduate of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or ECE; experience in the following is an advantage: installation and troubleshooting of PC and peripherals, routers, switches and hubs, modems, LAN facilities and ATM; fresh graduates with OJT experience in the same field are welcome to apply; must be willing to be assigned in Baguio or Davao; male, not over 35 years old

CREDIT STAFF (PROV - CS)
* Graduate of a four year business course; at least 1 year experience in facilitating credit processing of auto and home loan credit applications, preferably gained from financial institution; must have good oral and written communication skills; must be willing to be assigned in Bacolod, Davao or Cagayan de Oro; not over 35 years old

SALES SUPPORT STAFF (PROV – SSS)
* Graduate of any four year course; at least 3 years experience in auto loans booking, documentation and administration, gained from a commercial or universal bank; computer literate; must be willing to be assigned in Dagupan, Davao, or Cagayan de Oro; not over 30 years old
